| China and Colombia reached agreement on China's entry to
the World Trade Organization (WTO) on Tuesday after concluding bilateral talks in Bogota
the same day. The agreement was signed by Sun Zhenyu, vice
minister of China's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and Colombian Vice
Foreign Trade Minister Angela Maria Orozco.
The accord would help expand bilateral trade and further promote the
economic and trade relations between the two countries, said Colombian Foreign Trade
Minister Maria Lucia Ramirez de Rincon after the signing ceremony.
